  • Well, it's the 14th again.  Little Jenny Wren is hosting our A Day in My Life monthly posts.  Thanks Jenny!

I was awake a little earlier than usual this morning, having gone to sleep a little earlier last night.  It's amazing how that works, huh?!?

This month, our post is on a Tuesday.  Tuesdays are a wonderful day for me.  Doug only works 2 hours in the morning, and he cares for Isaac the rest of the day.  So, for me, it's pretty much a "Play Day" --- except for when it isn't, which happens all too often.

I made myself a cup of coffee, straightened up the kitchen and got on the computer.  I am trying to make it around to everyone's blog and say "hi" from my new blog name.  I know it throws everybody off when they see "Obtaining Mercy."  They forget for a minute who that is.  So, I'm trying to get the name out there, so people get used to it.

I then showered, dressed and cleaned up the house --- quickly!  One of those "which thing does not belong in this room?" clean ups.   Doug and Isaac, in the mean time, got ready for story time at the Library.  It was their first trip and they squeaked out the front door with barely time to spare.

I made my way outside to meet up with my mom, as we jumped at the chance to had to make a run to Michael's Arts and Craft Store.  It was a tough job, but somebody had to do it!!!

I came home after buying out the store a few things, and had lunch with Doug.  He said Isaac really enjoyed story time.  It was about scarecrows today.  The really cool thing is that the librarian is a lady whom I have known all my life.  In fact, she taught me in high school - my very favorite teacher, too.  Now she is doing story time for my little man.  Isn't that just very neat?

I sorted all of my supplies from Michael's and entered their prices and quantities into an Excel sheet that I made for my Etsy shop.  Then I spent a little over an hour or so creating.  I also put in a load of towels in the washer.

Doug and I had supper while we watched a tv show.  (Doug made chili dogs!  Yummmm!)  Then I was able to spend some time in the Word, and share a psalm on my Hope Blog.

I filled Isaac's medicine box for the next week, and realized I need to get a prescription filled tomorrow.

Now I'm typing this blog, and after that I will probably read a little, then go to bed.

Hope I haven't bored you silly!

    Thanks for stopping by.
    Alesha
