    Part of my previous message dissappeared.  I also got a recipe from the doctor to make the soulution.  It is not necessary to block the opposite nostral in kids.

    Great job on weight loss.  The ped Nedi Pot isnt exactly like the adult one.  The one the doctor gave us is more like a squeeze bottle with a tube inside  It is called NeilMed Sinus Rinse Starter Kit and available at RiteAid,Jewel-Osco Kinney Drugs, Supervalue.  I was afraid at first but it is very easy .  You have the child sitting up in the w/c and bend the head foreword and squeeze some of the solution in one nostral while the child bends foreword and most of it comes out their mouth.  I was a fraid she wouls asperate.  But we had no problem  Then you do it to the other side and repeat until the 2 ounces are used up.  What I did was to put a washable pad over her front and lap and let it drain into that.  It come with two tabs you dissolve in distilled water.  Enough for two times.  I got a recipe from the doctor to make it myself as we will be doing this for a very long time to come.

    I highly recommend the Hoyer advance.  It folds up if you need to tak it anywhere and is very portable.  Go for the battery operated one if you can and get two lift sheets one for baths and a dry one. 
    When you need a bigger bath chair which is really a shower chair check out the onmi by columbia ot the Bath Trax by pvcdme.com.  Awesome saves your back and cuts down on transfers.  We have the Bath Trax it came out before the Omni.

    Isaac looks great.  He is so cute.  When Amber was alive she had to see a kidney doctor.  We were told not to let her go more than 4 hours without voiding.  We had to cath her if she did and he was very concerned that there be less than 400 cc's residual in her bladde .  He explained that more than that could lead to reflux of the urine into the kidneys and make more of a problem.
    Alicia has a neurogenic bladder and we saw a urologist for her as when she would try to void she grunted and bore down like if you had to have a BM .  She is on a medication at bedtime that they give to men for prostrate problems which relaxes the muscles of the ureter  and helps make it easier to void.  It is working great and she has had no side effects.  I would suggest if he continues to have voiding issues a referral to a urologist.
    I hope the painting gets done and you have a smooth move.  I personally hate moving but it is a good way to sor
